Abstract
Nowadays, many of us still using manual switches to turn on their home appliances. This project was developing to simplify the process for certain works.This sound activation concept of project able to activate any electrical appliances to'ON' or 'OFF' condition with a couple of handclap. This project circuit is compromise of a set of component such as the microphone that can listen to any sound and then give an input signal to the circuit to be process and generate the output signal in order to activate any electrical appliances. In this project, the 'Programmable Interface Controller' (PIC) will be use as an output signal generator.For the input signal for the PlC circuit is the output signal from main circuit. A 9V DC type power supply is use to this project. For the appliances, the power source was AC. This project circuit can support any appliances that use the AC in between 2 Ampere like standard desk fan and lamp.
