Abstract

I had chosen e-Planner system as my Projek Sarjana Muda. My system has been approved by the Projek Sarjana Muda committee and I started my Projek Sarjana Muda with a case study at Aliran Aktiviti Sdn Bhd (AASB). e-Planner is developed for AASB staffs. Currently, there is no such system as e-Planner in AASB. AASB staffs used the official AASB manual paper planner. They also used a manual paper message to leave message to other staffs. When they want to transfer private files, they had to used other devices such as disk, CD-ROM or thumb drive. While to make announcements, they have to print the announcement and stick it on the message board. In order to ease this difficulty for AASB staffs, e-Planner is developed. e-Planner is an electronic planner where users can insert, edit or delete any events in their own planner. Other then that, ePlanner also has a function where users can send private message and transfer private files to other e-Planner users. To transfer private files, the other user who will receive the files must be online because they have to accept the transaction. But to send messages, the other users don't have to be online to receive the messages. e-Planner also has a bulletin board feature where users can post announcement and latest news. To develop e-Planner, I use Structured Systems Analysis and Design Methodology (SSADM).
