Abstract

1bis final project: The Development of Boat Winch: Effect on Mounting begins with the first chapter that is introduction to the project, the writer will tell the viewer about the background of the project, the objective and the problem statement of development of the boat winch. For the next chapter is literature review. 1bis chapter is consists all information, article, the other related project done by other person about this project. 1bis information is important for the designer or person who wants design or fabricates the new machine like boat winch. 1bis chapter contains about the type of mounting at the ground and at the floor, type materials, type of wire rope and so on. At the methodology chapter is the method to do project from the designing to the manufacturing process. 1bis chapter will tell the viewer the selection of concept of design, the selection or identifying of materials suit for the part to be fabricated and the manufacturing process for the part to be fixed at the machine also the method to do the analysis. It done by two analysis that is by COSMOExpress software and the analysis by the calculations. Then the next chapter is the result finding by the analysis. It consist the result of calculation and the software. The discussion chapter is will discuss the result finding done by analysis. Lastly is conclusion chapter, will conclude the overall project according the objective.
