Abstract

Smart Order System in Restaurant using Cable and Microcontroller PIC is a project to improve the service quality at the restaurant and save the cost of hiring more workforces. Currently and available system in the market has created a lot of problem in terms of its efficiency. This abrades the reputation of the restaurant and entrepreneur. The solution for this problem is a development of ordering system which gives more advantage to restaurant management and customer side. This project uses microcontroller PIC16F877A to implement a fast operating system through the usage of cable. It consists of a remote control electronics ordering system and monitor to display ordering information at the kitchen or counter. The ordering information will be kept in a database through a system developed by using Visual Basic.6.0.
