Abstract
This study investigates the implementation of Lane Departure Warning Systems (LDWS) among Malaysian drivers using the Unified Theory Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework. Analyzing data from 415 participants with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), it finds that Behavioral Intentions (BI), influenced by Performance Expectancy (PE), Effort Expectancy (EE), Social Influence (SI), and Facilitating Conditions (FC), significantly impact Use Behavior (UB). The results provide insights for policymakers and the automotive industry to promote LDWS implementation, improving road safety in Malaysia.
