Abstract

FTMK Subject Result Management System is a system where it helps lecturer and subject coordinator to manage student marks and result easily and effective. It is a Web-based system will help lecturer and subject coordinator enhance the quality of management for student marks and result. It has flexible features to enable subject coordinator recorded subject evaluation information which comprise from continuous assessment and final exam. At the same time it also help lecturer record student scores refer to evaluation information subject which recorded by coordinator subject. FTMK Subject Result Management System also enable lecturer recorded student attendance and subjects taken by the student. Through the observatiothere are seveml problems of the current system for an instance which is the current process is not consistent method to record student marks and result. It also not efficient through the manual method uses the software Microsoft Excel to record student marks and result. The modules of FTMK Subject Result Management System's is sign in, student, subject, student marks and grade, attendance, analysis and statistics and report module. The objectives of developing FTMK Subject Result Management System's is to build the systematic web based application, help lecturer and subject coordinator to record and manipulate student marks, can produce report and to produce an analysis and statistic from student result. The system approach that will be use in this project is Structured Systems Analysis and Design Method (SSDAM). The language that had been used in developing FTMK Subject Result Management System is PHP and MySQL for database management.
