Abstract
This research aims to promote sustainable agro-practices by developing an Internet-of- things- based hydroponics remote monitoring system that does not emit carbon. Wireless sensors and actuators are deployed throughout the hydroponics facility to collect and transmit data to a central control unit. By utilizing data analytics and power saving algorithms to provide valuable insights to farmers, the system enables them to make informed decisions and optimize their farming practices. Additionally, the utilization of renewable energy sources such as solar power and energy-efficient components achieves a carbon footprint-free aspect of the system. The proposed system has immense potential to revolutionize the agricultural industry by promoting sustainable agro-practices and tackling challenges posed by traditional farming methods.
