Abstract
In today's world, the newest and most appealing clean technology with zero carbon emissions is solar photovoltaic energy. It required serious attention to both its application and maintenance to harness the generation of solar power. To guarantee stable power generation, an on-grid solar energy monitoring system via IoT is developed. The system's main objective is that it can analyse power performance of on grid solar energy system. This project is a monitoring system by using SCT 013 current sensor to measure and send current data to NodeMCU ESP32. The data is then transmitted to an IoT platform for display data to the user. The collected data also be calculated to evaluate the power performance of the system. The system can collect data under 5% error percentage where the collected current data is calculated for power and energy generated per day. With this operation of the monitoring system. The user able to reduce energy cost effectively, gain valuable insight about their on-grid solar energy system and increase energy saving.
