Abstract
The development of an IoT smart medicine box with a Blynk application for pill monitoring is the focus of the project. The system aims to assist patients in managing their medication schedule and provide real-time monitoring. The smart medicine box utilizes Arduino Uno, various sensors such as pulse and temperature sensors, LED display, and a Wi-Fi module for IoT connectivity. The system can be configured to send schedule data to the pill box, and the LEDs and buzzer provide visual and auditory alerts at the scheduled times. The use of IoT technology enables real-time monitoring of medication intake and health statistics. The project also has the potential to be integrated with a mobile application for remote monitoring and alerting. The system's wide application includes use by patients at home, healthcare facilities, and for remote patient monitoring. The project leverages the capabilities of IoT and Arduino to create an innovative solution for medication management and patient health monitoring. The proposed system is similar to other smart medicine boxes that use IoT technology, such as Mediminder, Smart Pill Box, and Medicine Reminder and Monitoring System. However, the proposed system has unique features such as pulse and temperature sensors, LED display, and manual alarm setting. The project's main aim is to create a low-cost, easy-to-use, and efficient system that can help patients manage their medication schedule and improve their quality of life.
