Abstract

This research aims to find out strategies to attract chicken suppliers to lower the price of chicken. The focus of the study is to identify the effectiveness of strategies to attract chicken suppliers to lower the price of chicken. This study was conducted using analytical methods quantitative and data collection was carried out in Melaka. The survey method is used as a method to collect and obtain authentic data information about strategies to lower the price of chicken. A total of 201 respondents and data that has been collected using google form has been distributed online. By using analyzed SPSS, Reliability, Pearson Correlation Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis.The findings and results of the study show that most respondents gave good feedback by providing strategies that can be highlighted so that chicken suppliers can lower the price of chicken sold. The results findings show only one independent variables had a significant relationship , while the three other show not significant with the lower the price of chicken. With goverment make a contract with chicken suppliers becomes the most significant strategies in lower the price of chicken. However, there are some limitations such as people not cooperating when answering questionnaires and make the data collection process slow. The practical implication of this study is to find strategies that are appropriate to encourage chicken suppliers to lower the price of chicken to a cheaper one.
