Abstract
The purpose of this qualitative research study is to look into the impact of cloud computing technologies on the performance of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). The goal of this research is to discover the reasons why SMEs use cloud computing, investigate the problems they experience in doing so, and examine the impact of cloud computing adoption on SMEs' business performance. The study takes a qualitative approach to research, including in-depth interviews with managers, IT specialists, and other important stakeholders from a broad sample of SMEs. Thematic analysis is used to uncover reoccurring patterns, themes, and insights relating to the research objectives from the data acquired from these interviews. According to the conclusions of this survey, SMEs use cloud computing for a variety of reasons, including cost savings, scalability, flexibility, and increased cooperation. However, significant barriers to cloud computing adoption in SMEs exist, including data security concerns, limited IT infrastructure, a lack of technical experience, and unwillingness to change.
