Abstract
The Asian economy is supported by small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs). In the region's private economy, they support more than 98% of all Asian businesses and two out of every three employments. For Asia's economy to succeed, assistance initiatives for SMEs must be fully operational. SME development is, however, delayed for a variety of reasons, including the difficulties SMEs have with infrastructure and technology costs, information security, and the internet of things. As a result, this study has determined the implications of technical innovations, such as big data, cyberphysical systems, the internet of things, and interoperability, on the efficiency of Small and Medium-size Businesses (SMEs) in Malaysia. A pertinent questionnaire was created and sent at random throughout Selangor.
