Abstract
Political instability is unhealthy for any nation. Many socioeconomics plans face implementation problems because of it. Malaysia has launched many sound blueprints to drive development; however, frequent changes in political leadership have stalled many of them. Now that the Melaka state election has been settled, no doubt Melakans are praying for a more stable government to help the state recover from the economic disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
