Abstract
Freelance Translator System is a platform to gather the translator and the customer that require translating service. In the current system, it does not show the specific language to be selected by the customer. The customer has to specify the language by typing the language in the form. Other than that, the customer also cannot refer any point or rating to select the best translator. The system is developed using PHP and the database management system used is MySQL. In the Translator Freelancing System, the customer can search for the translator according to the language. Other than that, to make sure the customer can select the translator properly, the translator can give and view the rating for the translator. This system provides the opportunity to anyone who has skills and knowledge in different language to gain side income by doing translating service. Through the research based on the existed system, there are some improvements made such as the booking form and the task submission. The customer must confirm the submission before the payment is released to the translator. This is to make sure the customer satisfied with the work of translator. The system is developed using waterfall model of software development life cycle. Other than that, the project is about providing service translation. The target audience is the person who needs the translation service.
