Abstract
Home security system is now the ideal option to solve the issue of house robbery and cases about burning house. As we understand, many different types of home safety system that are too expensive to implement and difficult to use. Because of this, an efficient low-cost home safety system is developed where users can also program their own safety system. This research aims to build a controlled home security system with motion detector and LPG gas sensor with surveillance camera to monitor the real situation inside the house. The project as a whole is split into two sections. The first section concerns the development of hardware where all components of electronics are attached through the use of the circuit design. The second part is based on software development tools that are used to run the hardware system. In this part, the Wi-Fi module will establish a connection from sensors into the IoT environment by using smart phone application which can enables the user to interface the system although being far away from the house.
