Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the factors affecting the marketing activities of Halal products through tourism industry in Malacca. The researcher was choosing to do the qualitative method to conduct the research. Thus, five (5) companies were chose to be interviewed by the researcher. The questions are related to the importance of Halal concept understanding among the entrepreneur, factors affecting marketing activities and the recommendation by the entrepreneurs. Marketing activities are the tools that used by the players in the industry in order to sell their products while competing with the competitors in the industry. Marketing activities through tourism industry will include the people of the industry, products, price, and the marketing tools use by the entrepreneurs to attract their customers. The result of this research shows that there are some additional factors included in marketing activities of Halal products through tourism industry. The result also answering all the research objective and it is also provides the suitability of this topic.
