Abstract
Nowadays, green is important to reduce global warming, land pollution, air pollution and other such environmental hazards are all lessened when go green. Furthermore, researcher realizes that are a lot of excessive resources being created during the process of organizing an event. Researcher wish to understand better about whether the organization implement ‘Green’ concept to reduce the excessive resources happen and how the top management overcome all the challenges faced during the implementation. Researcher has come out three research objectives and it is (1) to investigate the strategies of the organization pursue in order to improve organization performance, (2) to investigate the readiness of employees upon the implementation of ‘Green’ concept and (3) to suggest an innovation solution to overcome the problems of ‘Green’ concept in the context of Event Management Industry. Mix method is used in this research for both data collection and data analysis. In this research, Event Company in Malaysia which organized conference and exhibition has been selected for this research to collect data and data analysis to investigate the strategy used, readiness of employees and the challenges upon the implementation. This study showed that the implication of ‘Green’ concept in the context of Event Management Industry brings a lot of benefits to the organization such as cost reduction, more upcoming events and customer loyalty to your business. As a conclusion, ‘Green’ concept might become one of the practices for all the Event Management Industry, create awareness among each other and being an responsibility toward environment.
