Abstract

Energy auditing refers to the process of reviewing the use of electricity involving electrical equipment is in a lecture room or building. The research is related to this energy audit is conducted to identify where much electricity be used, then to see electricity rates already used that contribute to the amount of electricity that is wasted when electrical equipment used within a lecture room or building. This research is to investigate and solve the problem of energy wastage that often happens in the lecture room in Industry Campus, University Technical Malaysia Malacca (UTeM). This research will consider position of a lecture room, the amount of existing electrical equipment in the lecture room is used and electricity wastage rate at most. Further, the data collected will be analyzed to identify the main factors that cause wastage of electricity. At the end of this research, the main factors that cause wastage of power in the lecture room in Industry Campus, UTeM and methods of solving the problems being studied will be identified.
