Abstract

Agent technology and robotic system is among the research works that have been established and encouraged many researchers to contribute. With regards to this issues, we proposed to embed the mobile agent technology into intelligent robotic system in order to utilise the robot capabilities in forming a task. We develop a model from LEGO Mindstorm RCX. 1.0 to design an Intelligent Robotic Parking System. This system used an agent technology which there is two panels to control the system called master agent and slave agent. Both agents will communicate via sensors and programmed with specific software namely Robolab 2.9.4 and Bricx Command Center. Throughout this research a real case study is adopted to identify its suitability in Malaysia environment since there is yet no system available in Malaysia. Even though there is still a need to further improve the design and development phase, the result shows a promising achievement and can be furthered improved and can be commercialised for future development.
