Abstract

Mobile Health (also written as m-health or mHealth) is a term used for the practice of medicine and public health, supported by mobile services. The term is most commonly used in reference to using mobile communication devices, such as mobile phones, smartphones and tablet computer, for health service and information. Within the last year, the growth in the mobile healthcare market has greatly accelerated. Nevertheless, the Mobile Health market is still in an embryonic state. These findings are part of research2guidance's new Mobile Health Market Report 2011-2016. It is very important to develop the Intelligence Features of Mobile Health in Encyclopedia because this application provides greater access to larger segment of a population in developing countries, as well as improving the capacity of health systems in such countries to provide quality healthcare. Because Mobile Health is by definition based in mobile technology such as smartphones, which can better reach areas, people and healthcare practitioners with previously limited exposure to certain aspect ofhealthcare. The intelligence features of this application including searching details/information of symptoms in common sickness, decision support system (DSS) on the result of searching symptoms, improved ability to diagnose and track diseases and telemedicine.
