Abstract
This research will be conducted to develop an automated building central monitoring system (CMS) using microcontroller. The CMS controller will be able to provide status of the dedicated facilities condition in real time. The specified faults parameter detected by the sensor will send the signal to CMS controller. The CMS controller is program to process and than display the identified parameter fault to the display monitor and alarm system. The problem will be known by the information displayed and alarm system. If all the facilities equipments are in good condition, the display will shown 'smooth running' and alarm system is inactive. The CMS controller system is equipped with the PIC controller, LCD display, alarm system, and the relevant sensors. The PIC controller is programmed using MikroC compiler to detect fault from sensors, identify problem and finally display the final results. This equipment is able to help maintenance to monitor. The multipurpose CMS will be used to monitor the identified facilities or utilities
