Abstract

This research investigates the relationship between organisational culture and knowledge management (KM) processes in a government-owned institution of higher learning (IHL) in Malaysia. The survey data was obtained from academics using a set of structured questionnaire. The results portray that there is a significant relationship between knowledge management processes and organisational culture. Based on the results obtained, suggestions are provided to both public and private IHLs in formulating strategies on how to properly deal with their KM processes in relation to the organisational culture present in their institutions in order to manage knowledge effectively.
