Abstract
Building energy auditing consists of measuring and recording actual energy consumption, at site, of a completed and occupied building and fundamentally for the purposes of reducing and minimizing energy usage. They are useful for establishing consumption patterns, understanding how the building consumes energy and how the system elements interrelate. In this project, the main concentration will be on the HV AC system as it is a primary mode of providing comfortable and healthy indoor environment for building occupants. The study will focus on evaluating and interpreting the building HVAC system performance of the major energy usage on one of the KUTKM's office building. To achieve this, the data from preliminary building energy auditing will be collected and then will be analyzed. After that, analysis of economic alternatives will be conducted before energy-saving measures are being recommended.
