Abstract

This study intends to develop an interactive web based video on demand system that allows users to view past events video of the university archive through the internet. The Video on Demand project interface will be focus on the TreeMap Information Visualization Representation technique. The TreeMap Information Visualization Representation technique is developed and integrated with the system to ease users in selecting videos by displaying the most relevant and popular video from the user's search result. This paper will discuss the early stages of the development phase which is mainly about TreeMap Information Visualization Representation technique and present the proposed system architecture for the system.
