Abstract

This short period research project IS developing to produce web-based e-learing electronic studies application. The Electronic Device subject is very essential and important for any electronic and electrical engineering's students. It is because it can help them to build a strong foundation regarding electronic devices and their applications. However, this subject is very difficult to learn because it needs a thorough concept understanding and certain variables regarding the output's value. Apparently fulfill the concept of technical university's, every student have to go through a few lab works which are related to a few instruments such as, oscilloscope and function generator. This project included simulation process where it cans help the students in the process of completing the circuit tasks concerning the usage of instruments before their do their actual lab works. The main objective for this project is to develop an e-learning application for analyzes diode for the subject of Electronic Devices. The implementation of the e- 1earning concept in this subject would help the students and the teachers to improve the efficiency of the learning and teaching process. The users can access this system directly wherever they are, as long as they can get the access for the internet services. As a conclusion, this system is to be expected to be one of the most powerful tools for teaching and as well as learning the Electronic Devices subject. Perhaps this system would be the first part of the total actual e-learning programs (hnp://ftmk.kutkrn.edu.mv/diodekul).
